Your first custom-order consultation is complimentary and can be used to discuss your piece, colors, shape, personalization, feasibility, and general design direction. Please fill out the form first then if your submission is accepted we will schedule a consultation.
Additional consultations or design meeting beyond the initial consultation are $20 per hour.
A Note About Pottery & Timelines
We will always do our best to have your pottery completed by your requested date. However, pottery can be a fickle process! Every piece moves through several stages before it is finished—from throwing and drying to trimming, bisque firing, glazing, and its final firing.
At any one of these stages, a piece may need a little more drying time, a kiln firing may take longer than anticipated, or a piece may need to be remade due to cracking, warping, glaze issues, or other unexpected results.
Pottery is a process that is best not rushed. Your requested completion date is a goal that I will work toward, but it cannot be absolutely guaranteed. When possible, I recommend choosing a completion date that gives us a little breathing room before a wedding, birthday, holiday, trip, or other important occasion.
If something unexpected happens that may affect your completion date, I’ll communicate with you as soon as possible.
Custom Order Pricing & Deposit
After your request has been reviewed, you’ll receive a final quote based on the piece, quantity, design, personalization, materials, and estimated production time.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your custom order and reserve its place in my production schedule.
Your order is not considered confirmed and production will not begin until the deposit has been received.
The remaining balance is due when your order is complete and before the finished pottery is picked up or shipped.
If you choose to cancel your order after production has begun, the initial 50% deposit will not be refunded.
Changes requested after your order has been approved may result in additional design, material, consultation, or production charges.

Handmade pottery naturally varies in shape, dimensions, glaze color, pattern, and finish.
Glaze colors, photographs, and reference images represent the desired direction and cannot guarantee an exact finished result.
Artist’s Choice selections give the artist creative discretion over the selected aspects of the piece.
Reference images may be used for inspiration, but another artist’s work will not be directly reproduced.
Custom orders requiring completion in less than four weeks are subject to a $35 Rush Order Fee and must be approved before the order is accepted.
Rush service does not guarantee acceptance of an order.
Requested completion dates are goals rather than guaranteed delivery dates. Pottery is a multi-stage process, and unexpected drying, firing, glaze, kiln, or production issues may require additional time.

Major changes requested after the design/order has been approved may result in additional charges.
